Growing up in Chavakachcheri as a Tamil with two sisters and two brothers, he learned the value of hard work and perseverance from a young age. His path led him to pursue an engineering degree in the bustling city of Colombo, where he excelled and soon found himself managing large construction projects.
However, Dino's life took an unexpected turn on the fateful day known as Black Friday during the tumultuous times of the civil war in Sri Lanka. Advised by a colleague that his life was in danger, he made the difficult decision to leave everything behind and seek refuge in a foreign land. With only the clothes on his back and a sense of determination, he embarked on a journey that would lead him to Canada.
Arriving in Montreal, Dino embraced the challenges of starting anew in a foreign country. Through hard work and perseverance, he assimilated into Canadian culture, eventually marrying a Canadian woman and raising four children, who have now blessed him with the joy of grandchildren.
Dino's love for Barrie blossomed from the moment he arrived. Its serene surroundings and vibrant community captured his heart, prompting him to build his life there. After a successful career in IT, Dino felt drawn to a new challenge – real estate. With his intimate knowledge of Barrie and its surroundings, combined with his friendly and trustworthy nature, he aspires to help others find their perfect home or cottage in the area.
